You’ll kick-start your digestive system for the day, get a healthy dose of vitamin C and vitamin A, improve circulation, reduce inflammation and help your liver function at its best self.
Make this with fresh lemons and raw honey. Use filtered water and try to make your cayenne pepper and lemons organic.

Spicy Cleansing Lemonade
You don't have to be committed to a full out 10 day juice cleanse to get the everyday benefits of lemon, cayenne, ginger and honey. Drink and enjoy!
Ingredients
- 8 lemons washed very well
- 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper more if you like it extra powerful
- 5 tablespoons raw honey
- 8 cups filtered water
- 6 inches fresh ginger peeled
Instructions

Zest your well-washed lemons into a small bowl

Squeeze the juice of each lemon into a the zest then use a fork to scrape out as much pulp as you can

Mix the cayenne pepper into the lemon juice

Mix honey into the lemon and cayenne, and set bowl aside

Chop the fresh ginger into small chunks

In a large saucepan, add the ginger to water and bring to a boil

Remove from heat and mix in lemon juice mixture

Let cool, then store in the fridge
Make this at the start of your week and drink a glass every morning. It’ll give you a nice jump start to your day. You might not even need your morning cup of coffee after you get into this.
If you have a sensitive system, dilute this recipe down with extra water based on your needs. Slowly use less water until you reach the amount in the recipe, or until you’ve reached your comfort limit.
